This sponsored skit by PayPal shows various emotions of people that realize they are blatantly having their credit card and private information compromised. It starts with their card being run down the street, then strange phone calls asking for private information and a return of many new items with their card. Everything seems to only get worse for the customer from the get-go, so their “flip out” is totally warranted.Challenges
In a busy store in the middle of Los Angeles, it is not easy to sneak in so that the local shoppers would not be tipped off. In just 24 hours, we had to rig everything up – including a mobile control room in the tiny stock room for the Director and DP to monitor the action and a van with full playback set up in the rear parking for the Executives. We had to use camera hides on the fly and items in the store to disguise our cameras. Moreover, we had to make sure that everything was set up perfectly because there were no adjustments that could be made after the plan was in action.Gear
