The Chinaball Socket Assembly (aka lamp holder) has a medium and is rated to 660 watts. The brown socket comes with on/off switch, the black one does not have a switch but we’ve found that if you are using the socket in a china ball the on/off switch is virtually impossible to use anyways. The socket terminates with a standard household Edison connector. 9′ cord. Accepts standard medium base household-type light bulbs. This lampholder is commonly used with Chinaballs.
